Apache Wells

Our winter home is in Apache Wells RV Resort in Mesa, AZ.  Our first year it was simply a place to park while we went to Spring Training baseball games.  In our time there we met a lot of great people, some who have become close friends.

We tend to stay pretty busy with happy hours, golf, eating out, happy hours and of course, happy hour.  There are a lot of things to do in the area and we do stay busy.

We saw Tim Tebow play baseball, he went 1 for 3 with a home run and two very ugly strike outs.  He also looked very awkward in left field.

Dale and Christy winter a few hours away so we visited them.

We went ostrich fishing!!

There was so much more.

We always are ready to get back on the road but sad to leave our friends and the Mesa area.  This was our 4th year and we'll be back sometime this fall.
