Last home brew

My last home brew!  No brewing in the RV, so this is it.  An Irish Red with 5.5% ABV.  Nice body with a sweet finish.

Clean house

After the mess for several weeks we finally decided to clean the house.  We put some order to the piles and moved them from the center of each room to the edges.  Then we actually cleaned for the first time in awhile.  What a difference!  The house no longer looks like a small tornado came through and we can now walk around safely!  We may have to clean more often.

Great news

We have made arrangements for an estate sale!  The sale will be May 3rd, 4th and 5th.  The company will come into the house the week before to inventory, price and setup.  That means we will be living in the RV full time beginning April 29! Finally a date!  Since the company does all the working including moving the stuff from the attic, we are working on the yard.  Next week we get mulch for the flower beds and continue getting the exterior ready.  With the sale the first week end in May, we can get painting and carpet cleaning done beginning the 7th.  The house will be ready to rent by May 15.  Now we need a renter.

The rental

Well we have a contract with a company to rent the house and be our rental agent.  We had 2 great recommendations but settled on this company.  We signed papers last Thursday and had a scheduled showing of the house yesterday.  Now understand we are in the midst of packing so the house is a mess.  But we both stopped for awhile yesterday and actually cleaned and straightened up the place.  Not bad for a moving zone!  Our rental agent arrives a few minutes before the appointment but 45 minutes later when no one else shows up our agent left...None to happy.  So today she calls and we have another scheduled showing Thursday.  We'll see.

Yesterday I arranged a storage unit near by and today I arranged for movers to come on Saturday the 6th.  Di continues taking pictures, documenting and packing.  I am focusing on the yard, crawl space and avoiding the real work.  With the stack on boxes, and the movers coming on Saturday this is starting get REAL!!!
